If you loved "Christmas Story", you MUST watch EVERY MOVIE Jean Shepherd did...They all possess the magic and fun "WE who grew up in that ERA" remember so well...This is one of my favorites, and the scene I posted from YouTube is only a part of the fun you will have watching the whole movie...

I'm joining these parties this week, PLEASE drop by and see all the fun...

That's so funny! I love the part about changing the name to Grannys and the look on his face.

Actually, I just saw a feature on Antiques Roadshow last night featuring the windmills and whirlygigs of yesterday.

Hi Donna, thank you for your sweet comment and for linking to my giveaway! My follower-list is in my sidebar, under the photo of the rusty rose - the headline of my followers is in german language "...LIEBE NEUE LESER/INNEN!" (that means: "nice new followers")... But I've seen that sometimes the follower-list (or google-translate) needs a little bit longer to open and in the meantime there is just a plain white aera to see... Sometimes you can activate it by clicking on the white area... (but not allways ;o)) Perhaps you want to try it once again :o) And now I will go to your follower-list and join!
Happy PS, my dear! xox Traude
